FAQs
1. How do I choose the right Mahinsure pad size?
The first step in picking the exact size pad is to understand your body and your cycle. One should pick the right size sanitary pad according to the panty size and flow. The below-given table is the guiding reference:
| PANTY SIZE | FLOW | |||
| SIZE | LIGHT FLOW | MEDIUM FLOW | HEAVY FLOW/NIGHT | |
| XS | 245MM PAD | 245MM PAD | 290MM PAD | |
| S | 245MM PAD | 245MM PAD | 290MM PAD | |
| M | 245MM PAD | 245MM PAD | 290 MM PAD | |
| L | 245MM PAD | 290MM PAD | 290MM PAD | |
| XL | 245 MM PAD | 290MM PAD | 350MM PAD | |
| XXL | 290 MM PAD | 290MM PAD | 350MM PAD | |
| XXXL | 350MM PAD | 350MM PAD | 350MM PAD | |
2. Is there any additional consideration for a leakproof period apart from selecting the right size sanitary pad?
Yes. Choosing the correct size and style of underwear is another important consideration for leakproof and infection-free periods, as the major part of menstrual hygiene stems from the right undergarments.
- Correct size, clean, cotton Hipsters and Bikini types of underwear are highly recommended during menstruation as they are breathable and super comfortable. Please note that oversized underwear can misplace the sanitary pads, which may result in leakages.
- Avoid “thongs”, “commando”, and “boy shorts” types of underwear during menstruation as these don’t support pads. Wings also don’t attach to them well.
3. How often should I change a Mahinsure pad?
Though the Mahinsure sanitary pad is designed to absorb maximum bleeding, as recommended by the gynecologist, it needs to be changed every 4 to 6 hours depending on the flow to avoid the onset of infection.
4. Why opt for an eco-friendly pad?
Most of the conventional pads available on the market are made of polypropylene and polyethylene, which are plastics. Every used sanitary napkin carries two grams of non-biodegradable plastic. Therefore, a significant amount of non-biodegradable plastic is added to landfills each month, and takes about 800 years to decompose. Mahinsure pads are natural and free from synthetic chemicals and will decompose within 152 days of disposal. To save the earth from all kinds of pollution for future generations, we must opt for an eco-friendly sanitary pad.
